No Meaning exists here
Scottish Industrial Trip Hop duo based in Glasgow starring vocalist/costume designer Colette Dryburgh & multi instrumentalist/producer Detroit Law.
The duo came to prominence last year with the release of their E.P “Multi Muscle Disciplinary” and accompanying videos exploring themes of sci-fi, synthetics, suffering and dystopia - the mechanical heart beat to their sound and aesthetic.
This gained them a lot of attention online while receiving airplay and reviews across many mainstream outlets.
D/D/D’s forthcoming single “No Meaning Exists Here” delves deep into the topical subject of our mortality and impermanence on this planet. These concepts are explicitly portrayed through expressions of ritual, violence, material success, with the shedding of ones ego as they let go of their "Hopes, desires and fear".
Damn Dirty Duke’s “No Meaning Exists Here” will be released via all streaming platforms on the 10th of April (Good Friday).
Unfortunately all their tour dates have been postponed.
You will hopefully catch them next at King Tut’s on the 1st of August (post pandemic) Supporting Vlure.
